Aries is truly one of those rare dogs who steals everyone’s heart. From the moment he arrived at the shelter, both the staff and volunteers absolutely adored him. He’s incredibly social, affectionate, and always seems to have a smile on his face. His happy-go-lucky personality is simply contagious.

Aries was surrendered through no fault of his own after his family lost their housing. They shared that he lived happily with their children and their cat, and he did wonderfully with other dogs in the shelter play yard. Everywhere he goes, he makes friends.

When we learned that Aries was at risk of euthanasia simply because the shelter was overcrowded, we knew we couldn’t let that happen. Some dogs leave an impression the moment you meet them, and Aries was one of those dogs. His life was simply too precious not to fight for.
