Wally almost
didn’t make it to Second Chance. Picked up
by the pound, Wally began to decline in health. By the time we
rescued him, Animal Services had decided to put him to sleep. We
transported him from the pound to Dr. Bell’s office, where
he was diagnosed with a serious case of pneumonia,
Entropia in both eyes, and a horrible ear infection. He had lost
over 30 pounds at Animal Services and weighed only 65 pounds. It
was touch and go for Wally, but thanks to Dr. Bell and his incredible
staff, Wally now weighs 115 pounds and is flourishing! Wally had
surgery for his Entropia, and now both eyes are doing great. Wally
goes on pack walks with the rest of the gang every day, and has
turned into a total love! Wally has definitely been
given a second chance at love….now he needs a forever home
with a loving family to call his own.
